Tire Warmers




 Bickle Two Position Tire Warmer

Bickle Tire Warmers have been developed for over the last decade.
All products used in the manufacturing are purchased in North America and we
constantly strive to source better materials that will enhance the
performance of our products.
With our experience it has become apparent that you can't build a cheap
warmer that does the right job.
You can build a cheap warmer, but it will not give you consistent heat with
longevity. In tests we have found that most tires will only absorb heat so
fast. So in normal ambient air temperature of 20 C it takes a tire about 40
minutes to get heat to the rim. Getting heat to the rim ensures you have
heat all the way through the tire evenly. Speeding this process up is not
possible. So consistent progressive even heat is what we have worked to
develop to fit this time frame.

When some manufacturers endeavour to keep cutting costs, We at Bickle
Racing pursue what is right for the tire and the rider. Building a good
warmer costs money ,like a good engine builder. So we have chosen to strive
to be the best and in turn we do cost a bit more.
We use a heating wire that is designed for efficiency and longevity as
opposed to less expensive wire with one strand. The wire is hand laid in a
special mat and sealed in place. The mats design helps pull the heat from
the wire and evenly disperse it across the tire. The front warmer is
designed different to allow the front and rear warmers to rise in
temperature more evenly. Most manufacturer's use the same wire front and
rear which leads to the front warmer over heating or reaching peak
temperature extremely fast, well within the 40 minute time frame.
The special fabric we use against the tire helps disperse the heat across
the tire and transfer the heat better. This ensures that the heat that the
warmer is producing goes to the tire. The Kevlar insulation is the most
durable insulative product we can find. If the insulation doesn't keep the
heat in consider 50% of what the warmer produces can go up in the air. So it
is paramount that the heat be directed and transferred to the tire.
The thicker heavier elastic cord ensures that the extended sides of the
warmer are pulled around to the tire side wall, but not interfering with the
calipers.
All the products we purchase are the best we can buy. These products are
then used to hand make each and every warmer by no more then three people
per set. Then the finished product is tested and fully heat cycled by John
Bickle and tagged for the customer.
All this is done, keeping in mind the privateer rider who has to remove the
warmer himself. No hooks, clasps, just clean on and off with no hassles.
During John Bickle's 22 year racing carrier he worked hard at his racing
efforts and valued the quality products that helped him enjoy the sport. It
is our intention at Bickle Racing to build the best warmer we can and
support that product long past the sale.
